‘Sabre Dance’ is a movement in the final act of Aram Khachaturian’s ballet Gayane, where the dancers display their skill with sabres. It is Khachaturian’s best known and most recognizable work.

This rendition of ‘Sabre Dance’ played on handbells definitely proves to keep the musicians on their toes like ballerinas!

‘Sabre Dance’ as played by Forté Handbell Quartet (from Colorado Spings, CO) in Portage, MI. Their web site is: http://www.fortehandbells.org/
