Sweat is an A Cappella Opera by Juliet Palmer and Anna Chatterton about the women whose hands sew our cloths. It is being performed Tuesday August 1 7:00pm at Trinity United Church in Cobourg by The Bicycle Opera Project. They are the only Opera Company that actually tours by bicycle. The story is about that struggle to unionize the factory these women are working what’s at stake, what they have to gain and also what they have to loose. There uis no actual music to this Opera so talented voices will evoke the sounds of struggle, ambition, conflict to the sound and rhythm of the sewing machines.
