The Northumberland Players are presenting “Quartet” by Ron Harwood. A play about 3 retired Opera Singers living in a retirement home for musicians in Kent England. Trying to keep their stage lights from dimming they decide to headline a Gala Concert October 10th celebrating Giuseppe’s Verdi’s birthday. Reggie, Cissy and Wilf have their serene rehearsal shattered by the arrival of Diva Jean who is a celebrated Soprano, and also Reggies ex wife. She becomes the 4th member of their Quartet. This humorously poignant play is being performed September 22, 23, 29 & 30th as well as October 6 & 7 at 7:30pm. September 24th & 30th as well as October 1st performances are at 2:00pm at The Firehall Theatre Cobourg. For more information, dates, times and tickets visit Concert Hall At Victoria Hall
