November is Women Abuse Prevention Month. “It takes the strength of an entire Community to end violence against Women” shares Nancy Johnston Executive Director Of Cornerstone. Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre invites the Community to stand united with women and their children who have experiences abuse during their Annual “Wrapped In Courage Campaign” on now until December 6th. A purple scarf, symbol Of the courage it takes for a woman to leave her abuser. Scarves can be purchased at Cornerstone and The Cobourg and Port Hope “We Fix U” locations. This year sport the traditional purple scarf, a square scarf or a purple tie.
