Celebrating 20 Years! The Capitol Theatre “Christmas Festival Of Lights And Trees”

It began in 1997, and was a small town Port Hope Christmas Tradition. A Festival Of Lights and Trees with a few trees raffled off the Main Stage at The Capitol Theatre. This year they are celebrating 20 Years! “2017 Capitol Christmas Festival of Lights and Trees” It will be truly spectacular as The Capitol Theatre is transformed into a wonderland of over 60 trees, wreaths and thousands of twinkle lights. Today it has grown into a Northumberland Holiday Tradition. This weekend November 11th and 12th through Sunday December 17th you can visit. Admission is free. You can browse and select your favorite trees. The raffle will be held at 3:00pm Monday December 18th. You and your family can stop by during the Candle Light Walk prior to the Port Hope Santa Claus Parade.
