Port Hope’s joyful commencement of this Holiday Season will be marked November 23rd, the night before Santa comes to town!
Beginning at 7pm, the Annual Candlelight Walk of carollers tall & small will be joined by the VIA RAIL mini-train as the singing promenade makes its way down Walton Street towards Memorial Park for the Tree Lighting Ceremony.
This signals Moonlight Madness shopping in the downtown district, a late-night shopping event that has shops open until you drop.
Critical Mass is hosting an Open House and family-friendly art experience at the Little Station in Lent Lane, with free rides on the VIA Rail mini-train, while Cultivate will have a Night Market open for fall’s last bounty.
DJ Del will be providing vintage holiday tunes and Gilmer’s Home Hardware is providing a warming station should the evening become chilly.
Throughout the evening will be free Horse & Wagon Rides, sponsored by the HBIA.
We’re pretty excited by all the warm and wonderful events this evening, in preparation for Port Hope’s Welcome of Santa Claus – in his own Parade Saturday November 24th beginning at 1:00pm.
We look forward to seeing you!
