Award Winning Conductor James Hilts grew up in a musical family. At the age of 12 he was inspired to pursue music by watching a live Marching Band. Today he is “The passion behind the baton”; Conductor and Music Director of The Orillia Concert Band. The musicians are a fusion of talents from  high-school music students to retired music teachers who just love playing  beautiful music. The Orillia Concert Band offers experienced amateur musicians the opportunity to further develop and maintain their skills. They perform traditional and contemporary Concert Band repertoire as well as promote Canadian Music and Canadian Soloists. For information, concerts and their scholarship visit Orillia Concert Band
