Originally it was a working cattle barn located just outside the village of Bobcageon.

In 1967 it was transformed into a Dance Hall where the local Social Scene hosted generations of Weddings, Dances, and Family Gatherings. The Barn boasted the largest hardwood dance floor in Ontario. Today The Lakeview Arts Barn is a fabulous Live Theatre Venue with 150 Seats with a Dining and Bar area. It’s a contemporary arts space with rich local history . The Theatre is completely removable revealing the original hardwood dance floor with over 7,000 square feet of banquet facility. August 23rd through September 2nd Globus Theatre is presenting a new comedy by Norm Foster “Halfway There”.
