Beaver Valley Outreach Is Making Good Things Happen In Their Community

Christmas 1983 there were 2 magical things that came together and helped create the organic inception of Beaver Valley Outreach in Thornbury. First a few women decided they wanted to create Christmas hampers for families in the Beaver Valley Area and were so thrilled to see the food, toys and clothing flooded in from the Community. The second was The Children’s Aid Society presentation of the film ‘Focus On The Family’. Today the BVO is a charitable community based organization with two hundred and fifty volunteers, staff and a hands-on Board of Directors who deliver twenty vital programs and services to children, adults and seniors in their Community. They also raise money through their Treasure Shop. They are truly “Making good things happen in their Community”. The BVO is very excited to be moving to a new larger location this year.
