Live Greenery Is Once Again A Home Decor Design Statement

Southern Georgian Bay Spotlight2018-4-30By: Kelly Gale

Does anyone remember those spider plants in macramé hangers or the leaf dropping potted benjamina trees from the 70’s and 80’s.

Well, they’re back in style! Live greenery is once again a home décor statement. Today, people are looking for plants that purify the air and grow without sunlight such as cactus gardens, succulent terrariums to aquatic plants in decorative jars.

Choose eye catching leaf colours, variegated to vibrant patterned foliage adding more panache to your space.

A trend that began in California is growing organic herbs, micro greens and mini-vegetables indoors in specially designed incubators.  This week’s Latest Design Trend is from the pages of On The Bay Magazine  Page 78-79
