How the years change our perspective! When I was a young woman I confess to being somewhat dismissive of the work of Marc Chagall. Sentimental! I thought… Too pretty! Repetitive in theme… (And when I was REALLY on my high horse) mawkish!
And then, along came Life, which taught me otherwise…
Sweetness is in too short supply to ever dismiss it. As is the expression of heartfelt sentiment. People won’t/don’t show their heart on their sleeve, and often won’t/can’t show it at all.
The years have taught me well, my friends.
Savour each moment of sweetness as if there might not be another, and cherish those with whom you share it, Life is short…
Thank you, Marc Chagall!
