A special Thank you to Elva May Hoover for bringing this extraordinary artist to my attention.
The older I become, the more appalled I am at all the wonderful talents, sights, sounds, experiences that have thus far eluded me, and this artist is a prime example.
In previous posts I have alluded to my love of the Japanese woodblock print. To clarify, it’s not only the technique itself – so complex and demanding – that so enchants me, but the clarity, the imagery, the sheer beauty, the feeling of a moment caught in time.
Though painted, rather than printed, all of that is to be found here.
