Anti Noise Pollution League, Quiet Dining Recommendations
I’m now 4 years in Toronto. Principally, we love to go out to dine and to enjoy a good dinner and a quite and nice atmosphere. But, sorry to say, after trying almost 200 restaurants during the last year with respectable (or better so say: astronomical prices, we gave up and eat at home. In most of our experiences we found low service, ridiculous prices for inacceptable service, and last but not least the food is in 99% bad – or with other words: why shall I go for dinner if I cook many times better!? In this regard, I would prefer to go back to old Europe with quite and peaceful restaurants, simple and delicious food, enjoyable classical music, with white table clothes, real candles, flowers all around, and waiters and chefs who know what they do and understand their business. ALL that my friends you will find in La Provence. Admittedly, not even cheap and suitable for every day, but its worth do go there – once! I prefer in the meantime to skip many awful dining experiences in Toronto and to go once a year…but than really good!! Even more, the owner will remember you and create a dinner for you own diet needs! I love my La Provence!!
