Pet of the Week
Once Caleb arrived we noticed that he was having some issues with his right hind leg. We performed x-rays and discovered that Caleb had an old fracture in his pelvis which was causing him quite a bit of discomfort. Caleb was sent to a specialist who recommended that Caleb undergo a procedure called a Femoral Head Ostectomy. Caleb has now had surgery and is recovering nicely! Caleb is a friendly boy who needs more exercise now that his hip is healing. He likes to play fetch! When at the park, he runs and comes back to sit at his handlers feet without even being called!
Caleb is a loveable guy who is in need of an owner who can provide him with tons of mental and physical stimulation. This boy’s got smarts and he’s ready for his next challenge! He would excel under the guidance of someone who is familiar with his breed’s characteristics. With structure, consistency and fair leadership, this boy will blossom into a confident dog.
