As if we need more encouragement, here’s another reason to have regular sex. Research has shown it can make you look younger, help you sleep better and reduce stress. Now the British heart Foundation says sex can help prevent coronary disease. The foundation is recommending sex as a way for people over 50 to stay active – with the slogan get your 30 minutes a day, any way. Of course, sex isn’t the only way to get moving, you can garden, do housework, run or dance. Research has shown that having sex three times a week over the course of a year burns about the same number of calories as running 120 kilometres. What would you rather do?
