John Cage's "Water Music"

On May 2nd, 1954, composer John Cage performed his creation Water Music for the first time. Cage is most famous for his piece 4″33 which is performed in the absence of deliberate sound. The audience is supposed to listen instead to the ambient sounds.

Water Music has been interpreted and performed by many young musicians and composers around the world.
