Joseph Haydn was an Austrian composer who became quite popular and iconic in the Classical Period. He was known as The Father of Symphony and The Father of the String Quartet.

To become great one needs to be creative and creativity is something Haydn prided himself on. His famous quote speaks to the importance of being original in creating new pieces.
