Kathleen Kajioka at Carnegie Hall

Kathleen Kajioka — host of In The Still Of The Night Weekend Edition, our resident astrologer, and musician-at-large — recently joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra as part of the viola section for their critically acclaimed and sold out performance at Carnegie Hall. Here are some of her pictorial memories.

In awe of Carnegie Hall: the most supple acoustics in the universe; you could feel the spirit of great artists of yore like Judy Garland, Joan Sutherland, and Jascha Heifetz; the pressure looms…

Proof I was there.

It was such an honour to join the Toronto Symphony Orchestra for this 24-hour jaunt to the Big Apple.

The crowd went nuts when Itzhak Perlman walked on stage, such a great contribution over so many years. I’m going to get a pair of suspenders.
