September 28, 1972 Paul Henderson scored a goal that our nation remembers to this day. Those memories of the Summit Series in 1972 are the subject of The Goal That United Canada, co-written by Sean Milton and Jim Prime.
Their inspiration for writing the book was to collect stories of this unique moment for Canadians so it could be shared with future generations.
Milton spoke to Mike Duncan and Jean Stilwell about the book and the stories behind it on Good Day GTA.
This Friday join Sean Mitton and guests for ’72 Summit Stories at the Hockey Hall of Fame.
