"Salut Japan" by Marilyn Lightstone

Marilyn Lightstone presents photographic tribute to the traditional Japanese art forms of scrolls and haiku called Salut Japan!

The story behind ‘Haiku’ is simpler. Each night between 11pm and 1 am, Marilyn Lightstone hosts ‘Nocturne’, a music program on the new Classical 96.3 FM. She reads several poems during the course of each program and Japanese Haiku – three disparate lines making up the whole – have become staples of her repertoire.

Salut Japan! is on July 4th through July 30th at the Miles Nadel Jewish Community Centre with a closing reception on Wednesday, July 31st from 7pm – 9pm.
