Starting his speech just before 3 am, he called the victory “historic,” and called for unity among all Americans now that the race was over. Trump said the race was not just a campaign – but a movement.
He called it a tough and nasty campaign but said the work is not yet over and that it’s time to heal as one united people.
Hillary Clinton did not give a concession speech, but did call Donald Trump to concede the election.
President-Elect Trump becomes the first president to never have served in government, or the military.
