The Ontario Provincial Police say they’re investigating two more deaths of elderly residents at a London Nursing Home. The suspect in the deaths of as many as 8 elderly nursing home residents in London and Woodstock, Elizabeth Wettlaufer, is scheduled to be back in court today.
A lawyer helping the families of the two new cases says it’s unclear if Wettlaufer treated the two deceased but she is charged with the death of another resident at the same home.
Wettlaufer is also facing seven more murder charges surrounding deaths at a nursing home where she worked in Woodstock. She has yet to enter a plea.
The OPP hasn’t ruled out laying more charges.Anyone with concerns about their loved ones are being urged to contact police.
