This week on ‘A Little Night Music’ Kathleen Kajioka takes a closer looks at Alexander Glazunov (1865-1936).

A child prodigy born in the 1860s, Glazunov would live through unprecedented upheaval, both musical and social, in his native Russia. And yet, through the Russian Revolution, through WWI and well into the establishment of the Soviet Union, he remained an unruffled channel of the beauty of the Romantic era.

Tune in to “A Little Night Music” every night this week, just after 8 o’clock to hear more about this rock of the Russian scene.
