This week, Cocktail Maestro Norm Owen takes a left turn from the usual whisky cocktails, and tells us about a few that use not bourbon, not rye, but… Scotch!

The Arnaud
2 oz blended scotch

1 oz Dubonnet
3 dashes orange bitters

Stir on ice. Strain into a coupe and serve with a twist of orange. Yum!

Feel free to experiment with any kind of scotch. You might not want to you use your 25 year old Macallan, but this cocktail takes on delightfully different personalities with different single malts, from the milder Speysides to the rough and peaty Islay malts!

The Bobby Burns
1.5 oz Highland Scotch

.75 oz Red vermouth
.5 oz Benedictine (or a bit more if you like it)

Stir all ingredients on ice, and strain into a coupe. Enjoy!
