Every Friday on “A Little Night Music” – Vintage Vocalists. Jean Stillwell of “Classical Mornings with Mike and Jean” joins Kathleen Kajioka to explore great voices of the past. This week, they continue their exploration of Canadian greats with Teresa Stratas.

The Oshawa-born soprano would grow from a childhood singing Greek pop songs to a career singing the lead on the Metropolitan Opera stage. Known for repertoire as diverse as Puccini and Berg, she would also become a renowned interpreter of Kurt Weill, earning her the status as one of the foremost singing actresses of the Twentieth Century.
