If you’re hung over from last night’s festivities, or hair of the dog today, here’s how you can wind down the St. Patrick’s Day weekend with host Alexa Petrenko of “Sunday Night at the Opera”. In her words:

“Opera singers do not get more St. Patrick-y than the young American tenor Michael Slattery, who brings us green music with his album ‘Dowland in Dublin’, his personal interpretation of John Dowland’s magical lute songs.  Inspired by Sting’s recording of Dowland songs, Slattery is joined by the ensemble La Nef in new arrangements that conjure up a nostalgic, Celtic flavour.”

Sunday Night at the Opera is heard at 9 PM on The New Classical FM.
