Back for the summer, The Disney presentation of Mirvish’s The Lion King has roared into the Princess of Wales Theatre, and shows are on now until August 4. This is one of the most popular musicals to hit the musical theatre circuit – 85 million folks (and counting) have seen it.

This production is known for its stunning visuals – giraffes strut, birds swoop, and gazelles leap … as do hearts!

Diedrea Halley (Swing/Dance Captain, understudy for Sarabi) and William James Jr. (Ensemble, understudy for Ed & Mufasa) met while members of the Las Vegas cast in 2011 and married July of 2018. Diedrea and William chatted about working on the Lion King, and how to balance working and living together a couple, and life on the road (which even means doing vocal warm-ups in the car!). Not sure what a swing singer or dancer is? You’re about to find out.
