Boris Brott is one of the most internationally recognized Canadian conductors, having conducted on stages around the world, including Carnegie Hall and Covent Garden. His Brott Music Festival debuted in 1988, and is now in its 32nd season. Based in Hamilton, it is the largest non-profit orchestral music festival in Canada, and, the only festival with a full-time, professional orchestra-in-residence. It features world class soloists and a mix of orchestral, chamber, jazz, pops, opera and education concerts at various venues across Southern Ontario.

The Brott Music Festival is celebrating their 32nd season with an impressive line up of concerts. The next performance being “Fascinating Rhythm,” it features a heavy dose of Gershwin this Thursday, June 27th at 7:30 pm at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre. For a full listing of concerts happening this summer visit , there really is a show for everyone to enjoy!

Internationally recognized Canadian conductor Boris Brott joined Mark Wigmore on The Oasis to give us a preview of the festival this year.
