Host Alexa Petrenko will highlight the strange and amazing career of Fritz Wunderlich tonight on “Sunday Night at the Opera”.  Here’s what she has to say:

“Fritz Wunderlich, the tenor with the sweetest voice you could imagine, was born on September 26, 1930. His first job was in a bakery in Germany where he would enchant customers with his singing. He went on to a promising career that was cut short after only a decade when he fell down the stone staircase of a friend’s hunting lodge and died in his 30’s. And still he remains one of the most loved tenors in history. We’ll hear him in arias from Mozart, which seem written just for his voice.”

This sounds like an amazing show! “Sunday Night at the Opera” airs at 9 PM tonight on The New Classical FM.
