Triple threat performers Lisa Horner and Jeff Madden came in and sat down with Mike and Jean on Classical Mornings to chat about the smash hit Mirvish Production musical, “Come from Away”, a heartwarming story about the kind folks in Gander who cared for many stranded passengers – “the plane people” they were called – during the aftermath of 9/11. You can join the cast and musicians of “Come From Away for an East Coast style Kitchen Party and Daily Food Bank on Saturday, December 7, from 2 pm – 4 pm.  This event is now sold out; however, tickets are still available for the dress rehearsal performance on Friday, December 13, at 2 pm. All proceeds of these exclusive tickets will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Limited tickets are still available.

“Come From Away” returns to its original home at the Royal Alexandra Theatre on December 13 after playing for 10 months at the Elgin Theatre.

PS: if Lisa looks familiar, she’s the hysterically funny actress in that flat-box furniture store shrieking, “start the car! START THE CAR.” (Pause.) “Start the CAR!!”
