What’s on top of the “Classical Chartz”, hosted by Mike Duncan? It’s Sheku Kanneh-Mason’s Elgar album, that’s what! He’s a brilliant young cellist whose biggest public appearance to date was performing at the wedding of Harry and Meghan.
Kanneh-Mason will visit Toronto next season in an appearance with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. He will perform Elgar’s “Enigma” Variations, along with Dvorak’s Cello Concerto, January 29 – 31 of 2021.
Right now, subscribers are renewing their season tickets for the 20/21 season; single tickets will be available on July 23, so make a note! For information, please click here.
Have a listen to Kanneh-Mason’s Elgar Cello Concerto – the opening just grabs you in the heart.
“Classical Chartz” with host Mike Duncan airs Saturdays at 3 pm on The New Classical FM.
