This week: Percy Grainger.

This composer from Down Under arrived in the Northern Hemisphere determined to become Australia’s first “composer of worth” – which he was. Although best known for his folk song settings, he was musically adventurous, embracing the new technologies of the early 20thc – including ambitions to eliminate human involvement altogether!
