Lyrica Chamber Choir’s Spring Concerts!

Bill Anderson chats with Steve Winfield, artistic director and conductor of the Lyrica Chamber Choir, about upcoming performances.

The March 28 program, leading up to Holy Week, will feature Requiem Mass, a new work by Toronto composer Dawn King, with two shows at 2:30 & 7:30 p.m., Burton Avenue United Church, Barrie.

And on May 30 the choir performs its 20th Anniversary Concert, with works by Canadian composers together with Canadian and American folk songs, African-American spirituals and a premiere of a new work composed for this occasion. Bethel Community Church, Barrie, 7:30 p.m.
