Here’s a quick preview of what’s happening tonight on “Sunday Night at the Opera”.

Franz Joseph Haydn, known as the father of the symphony,  also wrote at least 20 operas for the Esterhazy court.  To celebrate his March 31 , 1732 birthday,  we’ll revisit the ATMA Classique CD of Haydn’s opera arias with the wonderful Canadian soprano Jane Archibald,  who has been a frequent and welcome guest at the Canadian Opera Company,  though she mostly sings in Europe these days.
