Grassroots Heroes – My Friend’s House

My Friend’s House is a safe haven in Collingwood for abused women and their children.

As people are asked to stay home, the risk of intimate partner violence is likely to increase. The shelter remains committed to ensuring the safety of women and children through its 24/7 crisis line.

A transitional and legal advocacy program, counselling and children’s programs are available by phone.

Your help is needed now more than ever. The cancellation of fundraising events means My Friend’s House is short of its fundraising goal to maintain operations.
