The Toronto Jewish Film Festival (TJFF) has just unveiled their exciting TJFF2020 Online program, the first of two Festivals taking place this year as the organizers adapt the Spring Festival to an audience staying at home. TJFF2020 Online offers a curated selection of 39 films showcasing stories about long distance lovers, unlikely companions, familial discord, political outsiders, trailblazing women, modernist visionaries, and pop culture pioneers. The Festival opens with Keren Bar Rafael’s The End of Love, a gripping story of love in the time of on-screen relationships, and closes with Israel, Land of the Series, a documentary about the global popularity of Israeli-created television series.
TJFF2020 Online takes place from May 30 – June 7, 2020, and is accessible for viewers in the Greater Toronto Area. The complete Festival program is available at tjff.com.
Director of Programming Stuart Hands joined Mark Wigmore on The Oasis.
