Out of The Cold Collingwood is an overnight emergency shelter program for people experiencing homelessness in the Southern Georgian Bay region.
Normally, the shelter runs from November to April. But due to Covid-19, it has been operating continuously since March, in a local hotel where participants can safely distance and self-isolate.
Out of the Cold Collingwood and Community Connection have formed a partnership with the David Busby Centre in Barrie, to provide full shelter services to those experiencing homelessness, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
They need your help to keep the program running and explore options for a permanent shelter. To find out more and make a donation, visit OutOfTheColdCollingwood.com
