Spotlight on the Arts: HURONIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

With well over half a century of experience behind it – the HURONIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA continues to be Barrie’s sole community orchestra.  

Under the leadership of Artistic Director & Conductor, Oliver Balaburski – the HSO is comprised of fifty-five talented and dedicated volunteer musicians from the community and five professionals who lead the major sections.  

It would be their great pleasure to celebrate Christmas with you – Sunday December eighteenth at Barrie’s Collier Street United Church.  

Expect the beloved music by Strauss, Corelli and Tchaikovsky followed by your chance to sing along with the orchestra. Rumor has it, Santa might be stopping by!
