Last week’s wonderful weather may have you itching to get out and get your hands dirty in the garden. But expert horticulturalists are warning against starting too early. The big danger is tramping through the garden before all the moisture has drained out of the soil because that will push out the air so that the roots of the plants can’t breathe.
