Driving Gene

Are you a bad driver? My husband says I am.

It turns out this may be yet another thing we can blame on our genes.

In a University of California study, researchers found people with a gene variation performed 20 per cent worse on simulated driving tests and did as poorly a few days later.

They say almost one in three Americans have this gene variation.

Study author and neurologist Doctor Steven Cramer says people with the gene variation make more driving errors from the get-go, and they forget more of what they learned after time away.
