Writer/actor, story editor, and mentor Diane Flacks visited “Classical Mornings” with Mike Jean to chat about her work “UNHOLY” – her play that is being remounted for a limited engagement at Zoomer Hall for a Vision TV special. “UNHOLY” asks “should women abandon religion?”, and “why do women have faith?” Featuring four women characters with disperate religious and cultural backgrounds, “UNHOLY” was written as a live-to-TV fictional debate, so Diane was thrilled when station owner Moses Znaimer invited her to mount the production here at Zoomer Hall, complete with TV cameras and close-ups of panellists as they attempt a deadpan face while writing notes.  She also discussed how she’s had to tweak the script based on recent headlines.
