Declutter Your Mind

Zoomer Report2020-6-17By: Libby Znaimer

So you had to do something very important and you forgot? It happens to me all the time. It could be because our minds are so cluttered with useless thoughts and pointless fights that we tend to forget what’s important to us. Here are some tips on how to declutter your mind from an Indian website called TheMedGuru.

Prepare a To-do List – every day
Make another list of things you have to decide. Tackle the smaller issues first and then move on to the more important ones. Ask for help if you need it.

Don’t Procrastinate
If you think you are going to start exercising or getting organized tomorrow, it’ll never happen. Do it today.

Fix What Needs to be Fixed
Don’t wait until you need to use that broken tool or appliance. Get it fixed in time and you will be more relaxed.

Try not to work for long durations at a stretch
Take a short break in middle, walk the halls, or have some tea. You will come back with higher concentration and higher will power.

Meditate
Set aside 15 minutes in a day when you can sit quietly, focus on your breathing and let your mind relax.

Eliminate Negative Thoughts
If you think you can’t, you definitely can’t. So you give it a try along with these other decluttering exercises. And do them daily.
