May 2022 Event Listing for St. Andrew’s Friday Noontime Recitals
We’re excited! Live classical music returns to St. Andrew’s Church Friday April 1st. Pianist Jean-Luc Therrien, just off a successful European concert tour, launches our live recital season.
Join us each Friday at 12:10 p.m. for these FREE recitals in our spacious, tranquil church. Please note: while masking and social distancing are no longer required, we strongly encourage you to continue with these protocols.
The weekly 45-minute programs are performed by accomplished musicians, including U of T music students and faculty, rising stars in the classical music world and veteran musicians. Many recitals feature St. Andrew’s magnificent Bösendorfer Imperial grand piano.

May 6 The Ezra Duo, Colourfully Contemporary: Relatable Works by Living Composers Tabakova: Suite in Jazz Style and works by Ben-Amots, Adams and Ellenwood.
May 13 1 Brian Hsu, piano Liszt: Années de pèlerinage: Book I: Suisse.
May 20 – Mathew Li, piano and BoPeng, violin. Schumann: Faschingsschwank aus Wien, Rachmaninoff: Sonata No.2.
May 27 – Su Jeon Higuera, piano and Jin Lee Youn, violin. Sonatas by Mozart and Brahms.
