Mardi Gras returns to St. Andrew’s, Toronto with the joyful music of New Orleans
Toronto jazz trumpeter Patrick Tevlin leads another colourful, exhilarating evening of traditional jazz, spirituals and New Orleans street-beat music. Joining the master showman will be his band The Happy Pals, featuring jazz pianist Jordan Klapman, who initiated and has produced and performed at St. Andrew’s Mardi Gras concerts since 2005.
Audience participation is welcome! Join in the traditional parades (beads provided at the door). Sing along or dance to classic songs such as Jambalaya, Down by the Riverside and When the Saints Go Marching In.
