Reformation – Sunday, October 24th, 2021

Music Director Michael Newnham and the musicians of Orchestra Toronto welcomes audiences back to our home stage at the George Weston Recital Hall with an exuberant  programme of symphonic classics that harness the full sound of the orchestra.


Great Joy II: An Indigo Christmas with the Nathaniel Dett Chorale – Saturday, December 4th, 2021

This holiday season, two great Toronto ensembles join forces in a joyful holiday celebration. Orchestra Toronto and the Nathaniel Dett Chorale come together to create great music with Great Joy: a gospel-
inspired celebration of Christmas around the world.


Carmen! with Julie Nesrallah, mezzo-soprano – Sunday, February 20th 2022

Mezzo soprano Julie Nesrallah, one of Canada’s foremost interpreters of Bizet’s opera, brings the fire and passion of Carmen to Orchestra Toronto, in a programme of music inspired by Spain’s history, romance, and drama.


Brahms and the Raums, with Erika Raum, violin – Sunday, April 10th, 2022

A celebration of music, family, and community, featuring the “energetic individuality” of celebrated violinist Erika Raum, performing the concerto written for her by Orchestra Toronto’s composer-in-residence Elizabeth Raum. Brahms’ masterpiece Symphony No. 1 will bring the orchestra together for a resounding conclusion.


The Planets – Sunday, May 29th, 2022

We conclude the season with Gustav Holsts’s masterpiece The Planets, with the professional core of the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
