Maestro Lorenzo Guggenheim of the Oakville Symphony discusses “Vitality” on Classical Jukebox

Daniel was joined by Maestro Lorenzo Guggenheim of the Oakville Symphony, to discuss the upcoming performance of “Vitality”, Feb 10th and 11th. It is a celebration of music new and old that reflects feelings of energy and exuberance and also highlights the amazing talent Oakville has to offer.

The program will feature music new and old, beginning with Brahms “Hungarian Dance No.1”. TSO Concert-Master Jonathan Crow will perform Bela Bartok’s “Violin Concerto No.2” and the program concludes with a performance of Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 5”. Another exciting feature of this concert highlights Ukrainian Born, Oakville-resident-composer Nadya Polkad, to present her original composition entitled “Imagination”, featuring folk and rhythmic elements of her homeland.
